TEHRAN -- The Head of Presidential Office Mohammad Ali Abtahi is to leave Tehran for Abu Dhabi on Monday (today) to submit a written message of President Mohammad Khatami to the UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan.

The especial envoy of President Khatami, heading a high-ranking delegation, is to discuss ways to promote bilateral relations between the two countries with top UAE officials during his day- long visit.

Abtahi's visit is in response to a recent visit paid by UAE minister of foreign affairs and the especial envoy of the Emirati President Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
